About the college

Establishing the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Kirkuk University was established pursuant to University Order No. 7/6/9841 on 8/28/2013, attached to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up No. M3/4063 on 8/20/2013 based on the recommendation of the Council. The university and the sectoral body for colleges of physical education in Iraqi universities after it was a department for physical education that was established in the year (2005) and which was affiliated with the College of Education for the Humanities at that time, and according to university order 7/27/2532 on 3/8/2015, the name of the college was changed and renamed from College of Physical Education to College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
