Theoretical sciences

 The Theoretical Sciences Branch was established / College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Kirkuk accordin Ministerial Order No. 3/3/4297 dated 9/25/2016 and University Order No. 7/27/9625  dated 10/4/2016, as the branch supervises and follows up on the theoretical subjects taught In the college, distributed according to sector over the four stages, and preparing the necessary supplies and needs to deliver the scientific material to the student, as the main goal of the theoretical sciences branch is to provide students with all theoretical mathematical sciences and other sciences that assist the student in his scientific and academic sports achievement, in addition to the individual and team sports branches, and to place them in schools and sports institutions. In the governorate and meeting the community’s need in the field of physical education, the branch is headed by Prof. Dr. Ihsan Qaddouri, Amin Abdul Qader Al-Najjar, and the branch rapporteur is Prof. Dr. Amjad Ali Falih Hassan:

Among the duties assigned to the theoretical sciences branch are

Preparing the classrooms and providing them with the necessary supplies (seats, blackboards, pens, lighting, air conditioning, etc.), in addition to ensuring their cleanliness-

-Preparing laboratories and their equipment (computer laboratory - movement analysis laboratory - anatomy and sports physiology laboratory - therapeutic and rehabilitation laboratory for sports injuries).

-Providing methodological books and supervising their delivery to students at all levels.

-Distributing the teaching staff to the subjects, each according to his precise specialization and scientific competence, and following up on the teaching process and administrative matters related to the teaching staff, such as attendance and departure from the official working hours.

-Supervising the semester and final exams with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
