A Group of professors of the College of Science were awarded

 As The Presidency of the University of Kirkuk continuously support scientific research, the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, rewarded eight professors of the College of Science for their participation in holding a series of workshops within the program for developing scientific research skills for graduate students in Iraqi universities. The program was launched by the Department of Scientific Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The awardees were Prof. Dr. Mohsen Omar Mohamed, Assistant Dean of the College of Science for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sahla Khorshid Abbas, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farouk Ibrahim Mohamed, Assoc. Prof. Muhannad Qader Karim, Assoc. Prof. Shilan Khairallah Jabbar, Dr. Suzan Shukr Nouri, Dr. Roza Burhan Abdel Rahman, Dr. Iman Tajer Abdullah. These professors belong to various scientific departments.

Also, this initiative encourages the development of scientific research and upgrades our university to the highest ranks and leadership and excellence.
