Two lecturers from the College of Science/University of Kirkuk participate in a master’s thesis discussion committee at Tikrit University

Within the framework of joint scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Wafaa Mohieddin Taha, teaching professor in the Department of Mathematics / College of Science (chair) and Dr. Majeed Hamid Ali, rapporteur of the Department of Mathematics / College of Science at the University of Kirkuk (member and supervisor) participated in the committee discussing the master’s thesis tagged “The presence of Solutions to the nonlinear differential equation in the external field” by student Othman Mahmoud Alwan in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / Tikrit University and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sinan Omar and Dr. Majeed Hamid Ali.

The study aimed to find solutions to the nonlinear differential equation in the external field. The study concluded that there is a solution to the differential equation in case of the non-linear function f that is not defined at zero when the value of a is very small enough, through the theories of existence and unity and studying the behavior of the function and using the energy equation.

After extensive scientific discussion and the student’s defense on behalf of his thesis, the committee decided to accept the thesis and award the researcher a master’s degree with distinction.
