- أستاذ في جامعة كركوك (كلية العلوم/ قسم علوم الحياة) منذ عام 2008 ولحد الآن، بعد نقل الخدمات الأكاديمية من جامعة صلاح الدين.

النشاطات العلمية واللجان
- المشاركة في العديد من المناقشات العلمية لطلبة الماجستير والدكتوراه على مستوى جامعة كركوك والجامعات العراقية الأخرى.
- تقييم العديد من البحوث العلمية، وبحوث الترقيات الأكاديمية لمرتبة الأستاذية والأساتذة المساعدين.
- تقييم الرسائل والrun والاطاريح الجامعية عبر منظومة الخبرة العلمية الوزارية المعتمدة.
- إدارة وتنفيذ نشاطات بيئية على مستوى الكلية والقسم مثل حملات التشجير وإلقاء المحاضرات العلمية التخصصية لطلبة الدراسات العليا.
- عضو في مجلس حماية وتحسين البيئة في مجلس محافظة كركوك (مشاركة على مستوى المحافظة).
- عضو في هيئة تحرير "مجلة الأطروحة للعلوم البيئية" وعضو اللجنة العلمية في قسم علوم الحياة.
- عضو مشارك في صياغة وكتابة الموسوعة البيئية الرسمية على مستوى جمهورية العراق.
