About Us

The Faculty of Science was established on 1/10/2002 to provide the community with specialized cadres in science who will contribute to the comprehensive renaissance in the country. The faculty adopts the latest scientific curricula and modern methods. At its inception, it included two departments: Computer Science and Mathematics. In the 2004-2005 academic year, the Department of Biology was established, and in 2005-2006, three more departments were added: Chemistry, Physics, and Applied Geology. Since its founding, the faculty has been working to develop the capabilities of its teaching, technical, and administrative staff, building and equipping laboratories with the latest scientific devices, and following modern curricula and teaching methods to ensure graduates are armed with knowledge, experience, and the skills necessary to build a better life and serve the community.
