The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a book fair, coinciding with the launch of the "Read" initiative initiated by the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed, along with his scientific and administrative deputies, faculty members, staff, and students, with the aim of encouraging reading and promoting culture among university students and the academic community.

The importance of reading for university students lies in its contribution to developing their scientific and intellectual skills, enhancing their analytical and inferential abilities, as well as its role in expanding knowledge horizons and building a conscious academic personality. Furthermore, reading helps students keep pace with modern scientific developments, supporting their academic and research journey, which positively reflects on the level of academic achievement and the enhancement of the educational reality within the university.
