Department of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry was established at the College of Education for Pure Sciences in the academic year 2014-2015.
The department follows an annual academic system rather than a semester system.
Graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree, and it is anticipated that postgraduate studies (Master’s) will be introduced in the coming years.
Graduates are professionally qualified to serve as chemistry teachers in secondary schools[cite: 157].
