Department of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry was established at the College of Education for Pure Sciences in the academic year 2014-2015. The department follows an annual academic system rather than a semester system. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree, and it is anticipated that postgraduate studies (Master’s) will be introduced in the coming years. Graduates are professionally qualified to serve as chemistry teachers in secondary schools.
Vision
Disseminating the principles of chemistry and providing opportunities to study various branches including organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. Future vision: Developing into an independent college.

Providing high-quality higher education and scientific programs specialized in skills required for secondary level teachers.
Objectives
Preparing human cadres with expertise in chemistry, supporting distinguished students for postgraduate studies, and participating in scientific conferences.
