College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Specialized Scientific Workshop on the Student Information System (SIS)
The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a specialized scientific workshop on the utilization of the Student Information System (SIS). The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Yasser Mohammed Taher, with the participation of several faculty members.
The workshop, titled "The Operational Mechanism of Examination Committees within the SIS and Addressing Potential Technical Challenges," was presented by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed, a programmer at the Computer Center / Software Division and a member of the Technical Support Committee.
The workshop aimed to clarify the operational framework of examination committees within the SIS environment and outline the fundamental procedures required for the system's operation. Special emphasis was placed on identifying the most prominent technical issues that examination committees might encounter and providing effective methods for their resolution.
The workshop's curriculum covered several key thematic axes, including:

A detailed explanation of the procedures for data entry and auditing of grades, and the mechanisms for their management within the system.

During the workshop, the Dean emphasized the vital importance of adopting modern electronic systems in organizing academic and examination workflows. He noted the college’s commitment to developing the skills of its academic and administrative staff. Simultaneously, the Assistant Dean highlighted the role of such workshops in enhancing performance efficiency and ensuring a seamless workflow.
The event witnessed significant engagement from the attendees, characterized by inquiries and academic interventions that were addressed to ensure the fulfillment of the workshop's objectives.
