Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk Supervises a Workshop on Student Discipline Regulations Dedicated to First-Year Evening Study Students for the 2025–2026

The Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Hiwa Sttar Salih, supervised, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Fundamentals of Nursing Department, the Director of the Registration Division, and the Head of the Psychological Counseling Division, an introductory workshop on Student Discipline Regulations dedicated to first-year evening study students for the 2025–2026 academic year.

At the beginning of the workshop, the Dean welcomed the new students and extended his congratulations to them and their respected families on the occasion of their admission to the College of Nursing. He emphasized the importance of adhering to university regulations and instructions as a foundation for building a disciplined academic personality capable of assuming responsibility throughout their university journey.

He pointed out that the students are now at the threshold of a crucial stage in their academic and professional lives, which requires seriousness and diligence, contributing to the preparation of competent nursing staff capable of serving the community and advancing the healthcare sector in our beloved country.

He also explained that the College Deanship has been keen to provide an integrated educational environment through the preparation of modern classrooms and well-equipped educational laboratories, enhancing both the scientific and practical aspects and contributing to the development of students’ skills throughout their studies and training.

At the conclusion of his speech, the Dean expressed his sincere wishes for the students to have a successful academic year full of achievement and accomplishment, hoping that they would have a prosperous academic journey that contributes to serving the people of Iraq.

The workshop included a detailed presentation of the Student Discipline Regulations, with clarification of students’ duties and rights, ensuring the creation of a university environment based on respect, discipline, and responsibility.
