College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk Organizes a Memorial Ceremony Commemorating the Martyrdom of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her)

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, the respected Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, the respected Prof. Dr. Hiwa Sattar Saleh, the College of Nursing held a memorial ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), in the presence of a number of faculty members, staff, and students.

The ceremony included a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and a memorial address reviewing aspects of her blessed biography and the values of faith, patience, steadfastness, and defense of truth that she embodied, as well as her lofty status in Islam and her role in consolidating moral and human principles.

The occasion emphasized the importance of drawing lessons and wisdom from the biography of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and promoting spiritual, moral, and human values among students, thereby contributing to consolidating cultural and religious awareness within the university environment.

The ceremony concluded with remembering her virtues and immortal stances, and expressing feelings of sorrow and condolences on this solemn anniversary, affirming her high stature in the consciousness of Muslims and what her biography represents as a timeless model of faith, patience, and devotion.
