About the Registration and Student Affairs Division:-
The Registration and Student Affairs Division is one of the support divisions that supervises a group of programs and services supporting the educational process at the university, which as a whole aims to care for students and create the appropriate environment for them to achieve academic achievement. The department is responsible for supervising the affairs of students in the college and implementing instructions and controls related to student affairs ( Transfer, modification of nomination, hosting, exam from 100%, transfer from outside Iraq,...etc.)
Tasks and duties of the Student Affairs Division: The Division consists of several units, which are as follows:
First - The morning registration unit / includes the following tasks and duties:-
1- The subject of accepting students through all its channels (central admission - direct admission - admission of the martyrs’ families - admission of top students - admission within the distinguished channel -....)
2- The issue of transferring students, hosting them, and amending their candidacy according to the minimum limits for admission and according to what their competitive averages qualify them for in the year of their admission.
3- Follow up on students’ registration and supervise the completion of their personal files.
4- Follow up on everything related to the student (postponement - registration promotion - transit - transfer - hosting - failure).
Second - The evening registration unit / includes the following tasks and duties: -
1- Admission of students to evening studies (general admission for students of middle school - applied arts - vocational (gifted) - corresponding institutes).
2- Transferring students from colleges and universities and hosting them.
3- Registering students and supervising the completion of their personal files.
4- Follow up on the timings related to the start of the evening application opening in accordance with the ministerial instructions in force.
5- Follow up on everything related to (postponement, registration promotion, transit system, failure, transportation, and hosting).
6- Follow up on everything related to the student, from the stage of acceptance to the stage of graduation.
7- Admission of students to evening studies (acceptance of martyrs’ families through the Martyrs Foundation and the Ministry).
Third - Documents and Graduates Unit / The Documents and Graduates Unit includes the following tasks and duties:-
1- Completing the documents of students graduating from the college after auditing them, relying on university and administrative orders for graduation.
2- The validity of the issuance of graduate students’ documents.
3- Follow up on the academic documents of students accepted to the college.
4- Directing the necessity of adhering to the timings set by the university for the purpose of checking documents for the preparatory study of students centrally accepted into the college.
5- Recording incoming and outgoing mail to the division, provided that the work is in an organized and tidy manner.
6- Issuing administrative orders to direct students and all stages of the college.
7- Issuing administrative orders for graduation for students graduating from the first and second rounds in light of the university order for graduation for the first round and the university order for the second round.
Fourth - Unity of Identities:-
The Identity Unit of the Registration Division is responsible for issuing university IDs to college students and withdrawing expired IDs, as well as withdrawing university IDs from graduate students.
Fifth: Files Unit:-
The Records Unit of the Registration Division is responsible for preserving the records of students registered in the college, including registration forms and documents necessary for registration, and preserving students’ pledges and guarantees.
