Vision of the Department of Political Science

Vision of the Department of Political Science:

Teaching the principles of political science and political knowledge – its origins, present, and future; its philosophy, theories, applications, and research – with the aim of achieving international accreditation among peer colleges in the Arab world, the region, and globally; and consolidating and deepening the teaching of scientific political knowledge based on the foundations, principles, rules, and mechanisms of governance in Iraq and various countries around the world. Accordingly, the Department of Political Science at the University of Kirkuk aspires to be a leading and distinguished department in the teaching and research of political science, actively contributing to the preparation of specialized and qualified cadres capable of meeting the needs of society and the labor market, and promoting enlightened political thought and democratic participation.
