The Women's Empowerment Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division and the Kirkuk Health Department, organized an important scientific awareness seminar on breast cancer, entitled "Breast Cancer: Facts and Figures" under the patronage of the Dean, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin. The seminar was given by the specialist physician, Sarah Mustafa Weiss, who gave a comprehensive and clear presentation on breast cancer, covering various aspects of the disease, from its causes and symptoms to methods of prevention and treatment. Weiss reviewed the latest statistics and figures related to breast cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection in increasing the chances of recovery. The physician also used an interesting and easy method in presenting the information, using graphs and illustrative images, which contributed to facilitating the understanding of medical information for the attendees, as they interacted positively with the information provided, showing great interest in the topic, and asked a number of questions and inquiries that Dr. Weiss answered in a Comprehensive and detailed, and praised the importance of raising awareness of breast cancer, and encouraging women to undergo early detection tests. His Excellency also praised the efforts of the Women Empowerment Unit, the Continuing Education Division, and the Kirkuk Health Department in organizing this important event, stressing the college's support for such initiatives that contribute to serving the community.
