Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohieddin, the Turkish Language Department visited on 3/10/2024 the archaeological building of Al-Qashla in Kirkuk Governorate. This visit comes as part of educational and cultural activities aimed at broadening students’ horizons and increasing their knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of the region. During the visit, the students were able to explore the ancient archaeological building and gain valuable information about its history and its importance in local civilization, through a detailed and guided tour inside the building accompanied by department professors, who explained the historical and cultural importance of the site.
The Dean indicated that this visit is the college’s commitment to providing comprehensive and diverse educational opportunities for students, as it contributed to enhancing and stimulating their interest in the cultural heritage of the region and deepening their understanding of its impact and importance.
