Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohieddin, the Continuing Education Division organized a scientific and enriching symposium entitled “Body Language and the Strong Personality” on 2/21/2024, and delivered by Dr. Fermat Hidayat Muhammad. The symposium addressed the topic of body language and its importance in understanding Human communication
It was characterized by various and innovative presentations that addressed the concept of body language and methods of using it in daily communication, and the presentation of recent studies and research on the impact of body language on intercommunication and how to understand non-verbal messages conveyed by physical movements and expressions, during which the lecturer stressed the importance of understanding body language in daily life and in relationships. Personal and professional, stressing that knowledge of that language can enhance effective communication and contribute to improving human relations.
The symposium was on a continuous interactive basis with the students in attendance, as many questions and inquiries were raised about how to read the body’s messages and how to use that knowledge to interact with others and understand their feelings. In conclusion, the attendees praised the importance and effectiveness of the symposium and called for the organization of more awareness-raising events and seminars. In the future, to enhance awareness and knowledge in the field of understanding body language and its impact on our daily lives
