Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohi Al-Din, the Geography Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, held a scientific symposium entitled ((Using renewable energy sources to reduce heat emissions)) on Thursday, 2/8/2024.
He gave lectures at the symposium:

2- M.M. Suzan Qasim Akbar
The symposium discussed the concept of energy, its types, areas of use, the impact of each type on the environment, and the role of renewable energy (sun and wind) in preserving the environment as it is environmentally friendly, does not pollute it, reduces thermal emissions, is constantly renewed, is inexhaustible, and is safe for humans and the environment. The symposium pointed out the importance of environmental awareness among humans regarding their environment. The symposium highlighted the problem of global warming, which has become a problem of the times, and how to remedy this by using alternative energy instead of fossil fuels.
