Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Muhyiddin, Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, and within the framework of supporting scholarly output and highlighting modern critical studies, the Department of Kurdish Language, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, organized a scientific symposium and book signing ceremony for Dr. Khaled Qader Ibrahim's book, "The Aesthetics of Imagination in the Novels of Novelist Bakhtiyar Ali." The symposium addressed a critical analysis of the aesthetics of imagination in the works of novelist Bakhtiyar Ali, one of the most prominent literary figures in contemporary Kurdish literature. Dr. Khaled Qader Ibrahim reviewed the artistic methods employed by Bakhtiyar Ali in shaping the narrative worlds in his novels, the role of imagination in constructing events and characters, as well as the impact of symbolism and literary metaphors in giving his texts a profound philosophical and human dimension. He also highlighted their importance in shaping the writer's literary identity and the potential for their use in contemporary Kurdish narratives. The Dean praised Dr. Khaled Qader Ibrahim's research efforts, emphasizing that such studies contribute to enriching the Kurdish literary field and open new horizons. A new approach for researchers and students to understand literary texts through an in-depth critical approach. He also emphasized the importance of supporting scholarly output and encouraging researchers to present critical studies that enrich the literary and intellectual landscape.
The event concluded with the presentation of signed copies of the book to the Dean and the attendees, amid widespread praise for this work, which represents a qualitative addition to the literary and critical library.
