In the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the student Nagham Daham Ibrahim discussed her thesis (The Identity of the Female Self in the Iraqi Feminist Critical Achievement) today, Sunday, October 27, 2024, in the hall of the College of Education for Humanities. This thesis dealt with how the female identity was formed in Iraqi feminist criticism after touching on a group of concepts around which the problem of definition revolved, such as identity and the difference between feminism and feminism, self, gender and gender. The study was based on the manifestations of female identity and the contents of criticism that delved into the writings of feminist creativity through study and scrutiny, especially with regard to language and body. Among the results of the thesis was that the fluctuation of the formation of female identity is inevitably related to the system of custom, work, politics and belief, which was reflected negatively and positively on various axes of its active self in society.
