“A lecturer from the College of Education for Humanities participates in discussing his doctoral thesis at Saladin University.”

Participated as a lecturer in the Kurdish Language Department, 2.M.D. Amin Baghwan, at the College of Education for Human Sciences, participated in the discussion of the doctoral thesis entitled (A Comparison of Tenses in the Kurdish and English Languages) by the researcher (Tariqa Mohsen Ahmed) on Monday (4/22/2024) in the hall of the Kurdish Language Department at Salah al-Din University in Erbil.

 This thesis, under the title “A Comparison of Tenses in the Kurdish and English Languages,” presents an in-depth study of the tenses in the two aforementioned languages ​​in terms of composition, meaning and function. The study aims to explore and analyze the similarities and differences between the tenses in both the Kurdish language and the English language, which contributes to enhancing the understanding of the linguistic and semantic characteristics between the two languages. This thesis provides a deep understanding of how tenses influence the use and interpretation of language in diverse contexts, and is a valuable addition to the field of comparative linguistic studies.
