The Department of History discusses a master’s thesis entitled: Narratives of Al-Mawardi (450-1058 AH)

In the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohieddin, the History Department discussed the master’s thesis entitled [Narrations of Al-Mawardi (450-1058 AH) of the Prophet’s biography through writing jokes and eyes] by researcher Natiq Hamid Ismail and in the college hall on 4/17/2024.

 The study dealt with the historical narrations of the Prophet’s biography through the book Tafsir Al-Nukat wa Al-Uyoun by Al-Mawardi, which aims to identify those narrations, present them regularly, and compare and discuss them with the narrations mentioned by the rest of the historical sources and books of interpretation. The study concluded that the sufficient number of these narrations was counted and coordinated, especially the narrations that were unique to Al-Mawardi in his book. His book of jokes and eyes
