Department message:

To develop mental abilities among students of the History Department that would enable them to acquire knowledge, ideas, and historical texts while simultaneously developing the ability to criticize history based on the methodology of extrapolating historical events in their various temporal periods. It also aims to prepare male and female teachers who feel a sense of belonging and good citizenship for the country and contribute to performing their educational and professional mission with all sincerity, which is positively reflected in the educational reality and contributes to building the country in the field of learning and teaching. It also aims to prepare a scientific and cultural climate to prepare students equipped with academic and applied qualifications and provide research and advisory services that meet the needs of the current and future society while strengthening academic ethics.

Activating historical knowledge among students and forming a comprehensive historical image that can be disseminated in various circles of society and developing historical thought according to the critical approach based on educating the critical mind among students in the department, which will be reflected in their professional performance as teachers of primary school students who are the cornerstone in building the promising generation in the future. It is also an educational system capable of preparing qualified and specialized human resources in the fields of knowledge according to international quality standards to meet the needs of current and future society.
