
Assistant Professor Dr. Sukaina Ali Karim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, chaired a meeting in her office attended by a distinguished group of faculty members from the Department of English. The meeting focused on discussing the mechanisms for implementing the Program Accreditation Standards within the department as part of the College's continuous efforts to enhance its academic performance, improve the quality of education, and fulfill the requirements of academic accreditation in accordance with the approved standards.
The meeting addressed several key topics related to the implementation of the Program Accreditation Standards. Discussions focused on the most effective scientific and systematic approaches for applying these standards, in addition to reviewing the procedures for collecting the evidence and documentation required for each standard, as well as the methods for organizing and documenting them in a manner that accurately reflects the department's academic and administrative performance.
The meeting also featured a productive discussion among the faculty members, during which participants exchanged ideas and proposals aimed at supporting the department's efforts and strengthening its readiness to meet the requirements of program accreditation. Furthermore, emphasis was placed on the importance of teamwork, unifying efforts, and distributing responsibilities effectively to ensure the efficient accomplishment of the required tasks.
