Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, and chaired by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sukayna Ali Kareem, the Science and Technology Parks Division / Entrepreneurship Unit at the College of Basic Education organized a training course in celebration of the National Entrepreneurship Day entitled “Technology and Entrepreneurship Opportunities.”
The course was held over two days, Sunday and Wednesday, and was attended by a number of lecturers and students interested in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship.
The course aimed to highlight the role of technology in creating new entrepreneurial opportunities and to develop participants’ skills in transforming innovative ideas into implementable projects. It also introduced the most important modern trends in the field of digital entrepreneurship.
The course included several key topics, including:
The concept of technological entrepreneurship.
Investing modern technologies in the labor market.
Mechanisms for transforming an idea into a successful project.
Inspiring entrepreneurial stories and experiences.
In conclusion, emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting youth initiatives and activating an innovation-friendly environment within the college in a way that contributes to serving society and promoting sustainable development.
