Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Basic Education organized a scientific seminar entitled “Arabic Language Accuracy and Its Role in Enhancing the Quality of Research and Academic Writing.” The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Khudair Abbas Ibrahim as part of the College’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the academic and linguistic proficiency of its students and faculty members, developing effective academic writing skills, and promoting the accurate and appropriate use of the Arabic language in preparing scholarly research and academic studies.
The seminar was organized in recognition of the distinguished status of the Arabic language as a language of science, knowledge, culture, and identity, as well as an essential medium for expressing ideas, formulating concepts, and communicating information with precision and clarity. Furthermore, linguistic accuracy in Arabic constitutes a fundamental pillar of high-quality scientific research, given its direct influence on the clarity of ideas, precision of meaning, logical organization of information, and researchers’ ability to communicate their findings to readers in a coherent, systematic, and academically rigorous manner.
