Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Division at the College of Basic Education, in collaboration with the College of Media, organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Riyada Initiative: Between Reality and Ambition.” The seminar was delivered by Mr. Osama Issam Abdullah as part of the University's ongoing efforts to promote awareness of entrepreneurship, develop young people's capabilities, and encourage initiatives and projects that contribute to economic and social development.
The seminar was organized in recognition of the importance of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students and young people, while introducing them to available opportunities for transforming their ideas and aspirations into practical, feasible projects. Furthermore, the seminar aimed to encourage a spirit of initiative and productive engagement, reinforce the principles of self-reliance, and promote the effective utilization of young people's potential and capabilities in alignment with labor market demands and contemporary economic developments.
