The Continuing Education Department, in cooperation with the Autism Center of the Kirkuk Health Directorate and the Voluntary Work Committee, organized an awareness-raising scientific symposium at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, titled “Autism Spectrum Disorder: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatments.”
The symposium presented an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which is a condition related to brain development that affects how a person perceives and interacts with others on a social level.
The goal of the symposium was to raise awareness about this condition and emphasize that early intensive intervention can make a significant difference in the lives of many patients, especially children.
