The Second Issue of "Al-Wasat Al-Jami'i" Newspaper Released

On February 11, 2025, the second issue of Al-Wasat Al-Jami'i, the university's newspaper from the Department of Media at the College of Arts at Kirkuk University, was published. This edition was the result of the dedicated journalistic efforts of both daytime and evening students, with direct support from the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja.

In this regard, Dr. Turki Hassan Najm, Head of the Media Department and the executive supervisor of Al-Wasat Al-Jami'i, stated that the second issue of the newspaper was produced with exceptional journalistic efforts from both experienced journalists and promising young talents among the department's students. The editor-in-chief of the publication is media professional Firas Al-Hamdani.

He added that the newspaper consists of eight pages, which feature a variety of journalistic genres. While the content remains general, it focuses particularly on university life, which inspired the name of the newspaper.
