The College of Arts Organizes a Cultural and Religious Festival

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm Al_Deen Enja, the College of Arts / Continuing Education Department, in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language, organized a cultural and religious festival on Monday, January 27, 2025, titled "The Holy Qur’an, the Source of Happiness for the Individual and Society."

The festival included a speech by the Dean of the College, followed by a speech by the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koyistan Najmuddin Injeh, as well as religious praises in celebration of the night of Isra and Mi'raj. Additionally, a play titled "The Incident of the Isra and Mi'raj Journey" was performed by the department's students.

The festival also featured poetry recitations by the department's professors, religious competitions, a religious book exhibition, and the distribution of gifts (the Holy Qur’an) and religious books to diligent students.
