College of Arts Organizes Educational Seminars on the Population Census

On Monday, November 18, 2024, the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk held educational and awareness seminars and workshops regarding the general population census, scheduled to take place across Iraq on November 20 and 21.

The seminars, conducted by all the departments of the college — Arabic Department, English Department, History, Applied Geography, Quranic and Oriental Studies, and Media — included explanations of the population census process, its importance, and the anticipated benefits of its implementation.

The lectures presented during these seminars and workshops emphasized the significance of participating in the population census and the need to provide accurate and reliable information. Such efforts aim to achieve numerous developmental and economic benefits for all segments of society and every province in the country.
