College of Arts Organizes a Training Course on Mastering Source Documentation

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. I
Omran Jamal Hassan, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enjeh, the College of Arts' Continuing Education Division, in cooperation with the Department of History and the Computer and Internet Division, organized a training course on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The course, titled "Mastering Source Documentation According to APA, 7th Edition," was held for three days.

The Dean delivered a speech at the course, emphasizing the academic benefits of such courses for both faculty and staff to keep pace with global scientific advancements. He noted that this documentation system is adopted in the college’s journal.

Lectures were delivered during the course by the Head of the History Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Muhsin Muhammad, and the Rapporteur of the Department of Quranic Studies and Orientalism, Asst. Prof. Dr. Othman Fadhil Abbas.

At the end of the course, the Dean awarded letters of thanks and appreciation to several participating faculty members.
