The Dean of the College of Arts Meets with the Council of the Department of Applied Geography and Its New Head

On Monday, October 28, 2024, the Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, held a meeting with the Council of the Department of Applied Geography.

This meeting was held to mark the assumption of duties by the new Head of the Department of Applied Geography, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burkan Othman.

The Dean delivered a speech on this occasion, praising the significant contributions made by the former Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Abdul Jalil Jameel, during her tenure and her remarkable success in her role. He emphasized the importance of continuing the department’s scientific success through strong cooperation among the faculty members and between them and the students.
