Department of Applied Geography Holds an Advisory Lecture

The Department of Applied Geography at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, held an advisory lecture on Sunday, October 13, 2024, titled "Proper University Conduct for Building Leading Community Personalities."

The lecture, delivered by Lecturer Muhammad Nasih Ismail and Assistant Lecturer Yassin Miqdad Majid, focused on proper university conduct, adherence to attendance and the university dress code, understanding student disciplinary regulations regarding absences and exams, and avoiding cheating. It also emphasized that the university is the mind of society, and the more proper the student's behavior, the greater the impact on the community.

The lecture recommended the necessity of adhering to the laws, internal regulations, instructions, and orders issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions. It also stressed avoiding any harm to religious beliefs, national unity, or ethnic and religious sentiments, whether by action or speech, and avoiding stirring sectarian or ethnic strife. Additionally, it urged refraining from damaging the reputation of the ministry or its institutions through words or actions, inside or outside the university, and encouraged maintaining a high level of discipline, respect for administration, faculty, and staff, and fostering cooperative relationships among students.
