University of Kirkuk President Inaugurates Phonetics Laboratory at Faculty of Arts

The President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, inaugurated a phonetics laboratory in the Department of English at the Faculty of Arts, aimed at enhancing students' listening and pronunciation skills. The opening took place in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Omer Najmuddin Inja.

During the inauguration, the University President stated that the laboratory represents a strategic step that strengthens the university's role in meeting community needs and advancing students' skills. He emphasized the collective commitment to achieving academic excellence and contributing to community development.

On the sidelines of the inauguration, the President attended the "Classical Literature Festival," which featured a theatrical performance and various artistic activities bridging timeless literary heritage with modern technology.
