The Head of the Arabic Language Department Participates in a Doctoral Dissertation Defense at Salahaddin University

The Head of the Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Kuistan Najm Al_Deen Enja, participated in a doctoral dissertation defense in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Languages, Salahaddin University. The dissertation was titled Textual Openness in the Poetic Experience of Fadhil Al-Azzawi.

The dissertation explored the poet’s experience and creative formation, focusing on his intense desire, enthusiasm, and commitment to the principles of experimentation and alienation in a comprehensive way. It aimed to identify the key moments and events that reveal his passion for these elements and his departure from traditional norms.

The study concluded that poetic text in Al-Azzawi's work opens up to other literary genres, incorporating elements from stories, novels, plays, and autobiographies.

The dissertation was accepted with a "satisfactory" grade.
