Scientific Workshop on the Concept of Scientific Research Held at the College of Arts

On Monday, December 16, 2024, the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk organized a scientific workshop as part of its program to develop the academic skills of postgraduate students. The workshop was titled "The Concept of Scientific Research: Its Benefits, Types, and Key Fields."

The workshop, presented by the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Kwestan Najm Al-Deen Enja, explored the concept of scientific research, including its linguistic and terminological definitions. It also addressed the characteristics required of researchers to conduct effective research.

The workshop aimed to provide a detailed explanation of the various types of scientific research, including academic and non-academic specialized research. It also classified research based on its purpose, such as theoretical, applied, exploratory, and descriptive research. Additionally, it highlighted the benefits and major fields of scientific research.
