The Dean of the College of Arts Participates in a Scientific Seminar on Advanced Medical Technologies

The Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, participated in a joint scientific seminar organized by the Colleges of Arts and Dentistry on Monday, November 18, 2024, under the title "Ethical Challenges of Advanced Medical Technologies."

The seminar addressed the ethics of the dental profession, the extent to which the concepts, principles, and rules of Islamic Sharia are related to modern dentistry, as well as the legal perspective on practicing the profession.

The seminar aimed to emphasize the adherence of dentists to the principles and ethics of their profession without violating them for religious, legal, or humanitarian reasons. It also discouraged attracting patients through advertising, inducements, or intermediaries. Additionally, the seminar sought to raise awareness and educate on protecting human health, including oral and dental surgery.
