Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, the College of Arts/Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Applied Geography, the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, Al-Qalam University College, Karwanji Company, and the Kirkuk Glass Tempering Factory, organized a training workshop entitled "Software Proficiency Skills in the Workplace to Enhance Productivity."
The workshop featured lectures by the Dean and faculty from the Department of Applied Geography, emphasizing the importance of equipping private institutions in Kirkuk with skills and expertise available in government educational institutions.
The workshop also highlighted that this initiative is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to support the private sector by providing it with advanced personnel, which has positive impacts. The initiative also encourages government support for the private sector and fosters competition between the private and public sectors to enhance productivity, contributing to the development of various economic aspects in the country.
At the end of the workshop, the Dean awarded certificates of appreciation to several participating entities.
