Professor Dr. Omar Najm Al-Deen Enja, Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, participated in the 10th International Conference on the Arabic Language, organized by the International Council for the Arabic Language under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, from October 10-12, 2024.
Two scientific research papers were presented:
1. Arabic as a Mean to Understand and Preserve the Rights of Other Languages to Prevent Extremism
2. The Importance of Teaching Arabic in Schools Where Kurdish and Turkmen are the Languages of Instruction in Kirkuk Province
The conference featured 2,100 registered participants from 85 countries, representing 61 foreign languages, 186 international Arab universities, 750 research papers and scientific articles, 667 speakers, 125 heads of Arabic language departments, 10 main sessions, 95 scientific symposiums, 50 Arab and international organizations and institutions, and 50 editors-in-chief of peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Dr. Omar Najm Al-Deen Enja was honored in a prestigious ceremony for winning the Best Scientific Research Award for the first research, along with 15 other winning papers.
