College of Arts Organizes Educational Trip to Kirkuk Citadel

On February 10, 2025, the Department of History at the College of Arts at Kirkuk University organized an educational trip for first-year students to the historic Kirkuk Citadel, with the participation of several faculty members from the department.

The purpose of the trip was to familiarize students with the cultural significance of Kirkuk city and celebrate its diverse heritage by highlighting the archaeological and cultural richness of the citadel. The students were provided with a detailed explanation of the citadel's history and the major events it has witnessed over the years.

The trip was attended by a group of faculty members, including: Prof. Dr. Delshad Omar Abdul Aziz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamiran Abdul Razak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saad Abdul Mutlak, Assoc.
