Media Department Students Conduct an Interview with the President of the University of Kirkuk

As part of a student initiative to launch a newspaper titled The University Community, a group of students from the Media Department at the College of Arts conducted a journalistic interview with the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, in preparation for publishing the department’s first student newspaper.

Dr. Turki Hassan Najm, Head of the Media Department, emphasized the importance of practical training as a cornerstone for building professional journalistic skills. He noted that the interview with the university president was conducted with the support and guidance of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al_Deen Enja, to facilitate the release of the first student newspaper under the name The University Community.

He highlighted that this newspaper will serve as a platform for showcasing students' talents and capabilities in the field of field journalism, praising the support and encouragement provided by the university president for this student-driven initiative.
