The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Arts Organizes an Awareness Seminar on the Scourge of Drugs

The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, organized an awareness seminar titled "Drugs and Their Impact on the Individual and Society: Causes and Prevention Methods" on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in collaboration with the Applied Geography Department.

The seminar aimed to provide distinguished educational services to all students in combating this dangerous scourge in society, recognizing the importance of creating an academic environment that focuses on finding effective ways to raise student awareness on this issue.

The seminar, moderated by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Hajim Abdul, emphasized the importance of supplying society with individuals characterized by intellectual, cultural, and religious awareness by developing students' university personalities and reinforcing them with religious and moral values that stand against the spread of drugs.

The Head of the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, Assistant Lecturer Senker Saber Abdul Rahman, delivered a lecture highlighting the importance of adhering to general principles and high professional conduct, which have a clear impact on combating drugs in all aspects, and fostering a strong sense of responsibility in this regard.
