Arabic Language Department Holds a Seminar on Educational Guidance

The Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, held a seminar titled "Educational and Psychological Guidance and its Role in Achieving Educational and Academic Objectives" in collaboration with the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit for the academic year 2024-2025, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

The seminar aimed to help students in achieving self-realization to the extent that they can view themselves with satisfaction. It also sought to help individuals develop the ability to direct their own lives with intelligence, insight, and competence, all within social standards.

The seminar recommended that educational guidance helps students discover their academic abilities and potentials, assists them in designing their study plans and making appropriate choices, ensures they meet graduation requirements, and helps them overcome any difficulties that may arise in their academic journey. It also supports students in adapting to their academic, social, and scientific environments by providing them with adequate information.

The Head of the Arabic Language Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Kwestan Najmuddin Anjeh, gave a lecture titled "The Role of a Successful University Professor in Instilling Educational and Academic Values in Students," highlighting the importance of harmony between professors and students in achieving the desired psychological and educational guidance, which positively affects students' performance in life.
