The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, headed by Dean Prof. Dr. Omar Najm Al-Din Anja, participated in the scientific and cultural forum held in Kirkuk Governorate under the title “Peaceful Coexistence… Our Will.”
The forum was organized by the “Board of Components in Kirkuk Governorate” and was hosted in the activities hall of Plaza Hotel.
In his speech during the forum, the Dean emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence as a fundamental pillar for building stable and prosperous societies, far from ethnic, religious, and cultural divisions. He pointed out that peaceful coexistence is based on principles of mutual respect, justice, equality, and cooperation among various societal components.
Several faculty members from the college also participated in the forum, including Prof. Dr. Dilshad Aziz, Prof. Dr. Salwa Jargis, Prof. Dr. Azad Abdulwahid, Assistant Lecturer Azad Majid, and Ms. Iman Talaat, who contributed to enriching the discussions on ways to promote peaceful coexistence within the community.
