On February 13, 2025, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Arts participated in a central ceremony organized by the University of Kirkuk to honor individuals with disabilities.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Omar Najm Al-Deen Enja, honored several students with disabilities from various departments, presenting them with financial rewards and gifts as a gesture of support. In his speech, he emphasized that individuals with special needs receive significant attention from the government and state institutions. He stressed the importance of granting them rights that ensure they lead dignified lives, allowing them to integrate into society and utilize their talents and abilities.
Dr. Enja pointed out that this support would help them gain confidence in themselves and encourage society to trust in their abilities. The integration of individuals with disabilities into civil society enables them to exercise their rights in education, work, production, and creativity, ultimately benefiting the community with the energy and potential they contribute.
