President of the University of Kirkuk Commends the Launch of "The Academic Medium" Newspaper

The President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Omran Jamal Hassan, received the staff of "The Academic Medium" newspaper on Sunday, January 5, 2025, holding a meeting with them at the university presidency to celebrate the release of the first issue.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, the Dean of the College of Media, Dr. Ma'ad Asi, Dr. Turki Hassan, Head of the Media Department and supervisor of the newspaper, as well as members of the newspaper staff.

The University President congratulated the team on the launch of the newspaper, praising their efforts in promoting journalistic and cultural activities and reaffirming the university's support for the project.

He expressed his pride in the tremendous efforts made by the staff and students, describing the newspaper as a platform to nurture students' talents and reinforce national and cultural values.
