The Youth Ambassadors team from the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Saqr Khalaf Awad, participated in the Youth Ambassadors Conference organized by the Prime Minister's Office at the University of Kirkuk on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The conference was attended by advisors to the Prime Minister, several officials from the province's directorates, the university president, and the vice president for scientific affairs, along with representatives from various colleges of the University of Kirkuk.
The conference aimed to raise awareness among young people about the importance of the private sector, activating its laws, and discussing its provisions. The event emphasized engaging youth in discussions about the private sector as a necessary response to the limited job opportunities in the public sector. The conference encouraged young people not to solely rely on public sector employment, highlighting that advanced nations have thrived through private sector initiatives and the innovative ideas of diligent and conscious youth.
