The College of Arts Launches the "Read" Initiative

Under the directives of the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Imran Jamal, to launch the second edition of the "Read" initiative, the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Omar Najm Al-Deen Enja, inaugurated the initiative on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The event took place in the College of Arts library, in the presence of assistants, department heads, and directors of units and divisions.

In his speech, the Dean emphasized the importance of participating in this significant initiative, which includes a competition among the college’s libraries to encourage students to embrace the culture of reading and writing.

He also stressed the need to motivate students to dedicate time to reading, as it equips them with valuable knowledge for both their academic and everyday lives. The initiative will run from December 3 to December 12, 2024.
