An Academic Visit for Female Students of the Department of History to the Central Public Library.

At the Department of History, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed Al-Jubouri, a scientific visit to the Central Public Library was organized for the students as a part of the “Read” program, initiated by the respected President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan.

With the initiative of Professor Dr. Fahad Abbas Sulaiman and Assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Hussein Hamad, a group of second-year students from the Department of History of the College of Education for Women visited the Kirkuk city’s Central Public Library on a scientific visit.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the students with the borrowing system of resources and references and their classification in the library. Moreover, it sought to familiarize the students with the different scientific publications on the shelves of the library to inspire and inspire them to read and do research, and to have them cite sources when writing scientific works
