The Graduate Studies Division is a vital and essential department within the Research and Development Directorate. Its aim is to prepare and graduate qualified scientific personnel, developing their skills and abilities to enable them to pursue advanced degrees (Higher Diploma, Master's, and Doctorate) in various scientific disciplines.
The Graduate Studies Division was established in 2023-2024, with the launch of the Master's program in the Department of Life Sciences.
The Graduate Studies Division at the College of Education for Women is a vital and active division that operates year-round. It prepares the necessary environment for graduate students, as well as for faculty and staff members applying for study leave within Iraq. This includes receiving applications, providing required documents, and monitoring the application process until the university issues a decision on student acceptance. The division also handles official correspondence related to graduate studies at the college, issues administrative orders for student thesis defenses, approves research topics, and refers theses and dissertations to the linguistic and scientific review committee and the plagiarism committee. Furthermore, it forms student defense committees and obtains approval for research titles after verifying that they have not been studied at other universities or colleges. We wish the division's staff continued success and dedication in serving our college and our beloved university.
